The full text represents the Act as passed by the Northern Ireland Assembly. However, the entire Act has not yet been brought into operation. It will gradually be brought into operation by a series of Commencement Orders. Each Commencement Order gives a date by which each section of the Act becomes "live". Some Commencement Orders have been made.

As Commencement Orders follow over the coming months to bring other sections of the Act into operation, we will provide information on this through our website.
