Our Management Statement and Financial Memorandum sets out the broad framework within which we operate as an executive non departmental public body. Although we carry-out            our work at arms-length, the Commission is ultimately accountable to the Minister for Social Development. The document was drawn up by the Department of Social Development and sets out this relationship with respect to:

• our overall aims, objectives and targets;
• the rules and guidelines governing our functions, duties and powers;
• the conditions of our funding.
• and how we are to be held to account.
